Kodiak Building Partners announced several job changes. Mark Garboski was promoted to COO. Mike Flood was promoted to Executive VP for Operations and will lead Kodiak’s Production Lumber and Door/Windows/Millwork groups. Pat Flood was promoted to Executive VP for Operations and will lead Kodiak’s Retail Lumber and Gypsum groups. Also, Mike Fairbanks was promoted to President of Kodiak's New England Building Supply unit, and Dena Cordova-Jack joined Kodiak as Senior Director for Talent Management.
Kodiak also gave its first annual Chairman's Award to Linda Hawkins (pictured above), president of Kodiak unit AO Door. The award was created to recognize an exemplary Kodiak business leader who embodies the culture that empowers local leaders to succeed in the communities they serve, while excelling in financial measurement categories.
Hammond Lumber announced the creation of a new senior leadership team. Mike Hammond remains as president and CEO. His father, Don Hammond, is Executive VP. Rod Bickford is the company's new COO, while Hannah Colson is the CFO. Other leadership team members include Fred Perkins, SVP of Sales; Mitch Bickford, VP of Business Processes; Dawson Davis, VP of Information Technology; Matt Masse, VP of Purchasing; Dick Willard, Regional VP of Purchasing; Bruce Pelletier, VP of Safety & Risk Management; Jake Webb, VP of Commercial Sales; Rod Wiles, VP of Human Resources; and Lori Witham, VP of Kitchen, Bath & Flooring.
Hammond also organized into regions and selected VPs for each area: Dan Curtis for the Downeast stores, Al Feather for the Central Region, Jason Gagnon and Steve Pray for the Southern Region, Steve Hardy for the Northern Region, and Ted Perkins for the Midcoast Region. Finally, Sadie Hammond was named Director of Organizational Development.
Carter Lumber promoted Mike Thomas to Market Vice President for Northeast Ohio. It also named Kyle Diamond as Atlanta Market Sales Manager and picked Brad Myers to be Director of Component Manufacturing.
Kevin Sowards has become a Salesperson at Tarwater Farm & Home Supply, Topeka, KS.
TW Perry promoted Nadine Khalil to Assistant General Manager of the Springfield, VA, yard.
Spahn & Rose named Mike Erickson as a Regional Sales Director.
Randy Mercer has become a Regional Inventory Specialist at Parr Lumber.
84 Lumber named David Burgess as Technical Sales Representative. He's based in the Richmond, VA, area.
Nation's Best named Jim Rusu as Director of Purchasing.
SRS Distribution announced Chris Arrington joined the team as Chief Credit Officer, Sean Boles as Chief of Staff, and Raajev Rai as Chief Technology Officer. It also hired Ed Adams to be a Regional Manager and Dustin Leigh to be a Branch Manager.

Nick Black is the new Operations Manager at Breckenridge (CO) Building Center.
Espy Lumber selected Rob McKean to be Operations Manager at its Hilton Head, SC, yard.

The Home Depot named Edward "Ted" P. Decker as President and COO, Ann-Marie Campbell as Executive VP for U.S. Stores and International operations, Jeff Kinnaird as Executive VP of Merchandising, and Michael Rowe to President of The Home Depot Canada.
Beacon Building Products named Loreen Batinic to a District Manager position, based in the Chicago area.
L&W Supply named Todd Lorenzen as the Branch Manager for its Rochester, NY, facility, and Scott Stuckert (pictured) as Business Development Manager in L&W Supply’s Central Region.
Andy Barker has been named Senior Category Manager for Wood Products at HD Supply.
